How do I get to the Adelaide Oval?
The Adelaide Oval is located on War Memorial Drive, North Adelaide SA 5006 right in the heart of the city, framed by the River Torrens and surrounding precinct. Whether you’re travelling by car, bus, train or tram, Adelaide Oval’s close proximity to the CBD makes it easily accessible.

Just a short walk over the Torrens footbridge places you in the vibrant Riverbank entertainment precinct, between the Festival Centre complex, Adelaide Casino and Adelaide Convention Centre.
At night, nearby Hindley Street comes alive as people flock to its laneways packed with trendy restaurants and small bars, as well as local pubs and clubs. Adelaide’s premier retail precinct Rundle Mall is within walking distance, further east you will find Rundle Street and its many boutiques, specialty shops and some of Adelaide’s best eateries.
Delegates wanting to explore Adelaide’s cultural sites need only take a short walk to North Terrace for the Art Gallery of South Australia, South Australian Museum, Adelaide Zoo and Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Adelaide’s tram network can connect you with a number of experiences just a little further afar, including the beloved Adelaide Central Market, Morphettville Racecourse and the Glenelg foreshore.
Adelaide Public Transport
Conference delegates are encouraged to take advantage of public transport. The Oval is accessible by train, tram and bus services. Public transport timetables and routes vary so please visit the Adelaide Metro website for the latest information.
Parking at the Adeleide Oval
The Adelaide Oval operates two car parks. These car parks are open to BIC Conference delegates. Check out the Car Park locations on the stadium map here.
The venue recommeds conference delegates park in the Wilson East Car Park, accessed from King William Road or the Wilson North Car Park, accessed from Pennington Terrace. A special function rate of $17.00 per car can be offered (subject to change), delegates will need to get their ticket validated before they leave the conference plenary room to receive this rate, or they will be subject to the public rate ($24+ per car). A car park validator will be present in the plenary room for delegates to validate their car park tickets.

Taxis
Taxi ranks are located on the western side of King William Road, the southern side of Pennington Terrace and the eastern side of Montefiore Road.

Bike racks are located outside the North, South and East gates.
