ARCC is committed to the development of an Australian designed and built zero emission bus chassis. Supporting local industry and operators with socially responsible engineering.
As a zero-emission mobility technology company with an initial focus on the regulated Government Route bus market, ARCC has invested resources and time into creating the world’s first mass producible aluminium light-weight chassis which is capable of being powered by either Battery Electric or a Hydrogen Fuel Cell.
With both Federal and State governments increasingly focused on meeting zero-emission targets, ARCC has completed the first 100% Australian designed and built Fuel Cell Bus at its Smithfield factory in NSW.
This facility represents 8 years of the efforts of a Sydney Based Team to lead the nation and the globe on the green future of public transport infrastructure. By investing in this facility through the creation of the new green fleet of current and future buses,
In addition, ARCC has been prioritizing future skill requirements such as up-skilling of local jobs and increasing advanced manufacturing opportunities for moving towards a decarbonized bus fleet as soon as possible. This is reflected in our ongoing engagement and relationship with local education partners to support their internship programs.
