Energy Australia

Sponsor Image
The increased interest in electric transport across public and private sectors demands the remodelling and rethinking of existing strategies and operations. At EnergyAustralia, our goal is to make this transition to an electrified fleet safe, simple, quick and cost-effective.

Helping to transition the transport industry to EVs is not just about installing a few chargers along the way; it is about looking to the future and understanding what it would mean to have millions of vehicles relying on the energy system to keep them moving. We need to ensure the system is ready to meet this increase in demand over time and that we are achieving our zero emissions goals through this transition.

Looking at the big picture and working on building a solution that addresses the EV charging network in Australia as a whole is how we help set our customers up for success. EnergyAustralia helps build the infrastructure and behind-the-meter renewable energy solutions for our customers.

Irizar

Sponsor Image
Irizar starts its history in Oceania in 2006, with the first Irizar school / charter unit rolling off the production line in the Brazilian production plant. That marks the initial movement of the most successful imported brand in Australia.

Along these 8 years, Irizar has broken through the number of 500 units sold in Australia and New Zealand. With the objective to be closer of customers and mark the factory presence in Oceania, Irizar Group has settled its fully owned company in Melbourne the Irizar Asia Pacific P/L.

Established in an area of 3000 m², Irizar Asia Pacific is the Group headquarter in Australia coordinating all Irizar products sales and a service network. Since 2014, Irizar changed the approach on the service department being the only body builder to offer “onsite” aftersales for body and air conditioning.

Mobiles workshops are present on the major capital cities of Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth) committed with “one stop shop” policy. Irizar Asia Pacific starts the new era of Irizar Group in Oceania bringing into the market the other Irizar Group products as such as fleet management systems, passive and active safety systems.

These systems are fully available for Oceania customers from 2015 and will be available in versions to be retrofitted in non- Irizar vehicles. Irizar Asia Pacific is a solid proof in Oceania of Irizar Group’s commitment with the customers. 2018 marks a new age of Irizar in Oceania with the introduction of the i6s, an combination of design and technology.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) is Australia’s regulator for all heavy vehicles over 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass or aggregate trailer mass.

Established in 2013 and headquartered in Brisbane, the NHVR’s vision is to build a single, consistent national regulator and a safe, efficient, and productive heavy vehicle industry serving the needs of Australia.

As a modern regulator, the NHVR works across a range of heavy vehicle safety, productivity, policy and operational initiatives and projects endorsed by state and federal transport ministers.

The NHVR’s role is to improve safety and reduce the risk of impact from heavy vehicle transport by ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). While operating in all states and territories except the Northern Territory and Western Australia, the NHVR aims to minimise the compliance burden and the inconsistencies of heavy vehicle regulation in Australia. The focus is on informing, educating and enforcing regulatory action with heavy vehicle operators and drivers to keep all road users safe.

National Transport Commission

The NTC harmonises and improves laws, regulations and policies so the transport system works well for the people who use it, the freight that travels on it and the governments who manage and regulate it.

Australia’s land transport system is managed and regulated by different governments, agencies and regulators. The National Transport Commission’s role is to reform these complex arrangements to promote better national outcomes and ensure Australia’s transport systems work together.
