Samantha is a safety management professional, with over twenty-eight years' experience in transport safety. She brings a wealth of experience in leadership and management in transportation safety investigations, having previously held executive operational safety leadership positions in both private industry and government environments.

For the past 15 years, Chad Rouse has led the design, engineering & application portion of Kidde Technologies’ Commercial Vehicle group in the US. As a Chief Engineer, Chad is involved in all aspects of Kidde’s vehicle fire suppression systems, working directly with customers and vehicle manufacturer’s, to achieve the best fire suppression system solution for each application.
Chad has seen firsthand the evolution of the industry from traditional fueled vehicles such as diesel and CNG, to hybrids, & alternate fuels such as hydrogen through to fully electric vehicles. Chad and his engineering team have played & continue to play an integral role in developing fire suppression through this evolution.
Chad has also been heavily involved in developing & continuing to support KlineFire as a Distributor of the Kidde Fire Suppression System in the Asia Pacific Region.

Shawn O'Sullivan is a dynamic visionary figure in the field of emerging industries education within TAFE Queensland, with a strong focus on electric and hydrogen vehicles. As VET Emerging Industries Business Manager, Shawn plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of skilled professionals in these rapidly evolving sectors.
With a rich background in developing and implementing education programs, Shawn possesses a unique blend of expertise that bridges the gap between educational compliance and industry. At TAFE Queensland, Shawn is at the forefront of Industry and TAFE partnerships to support the development of curriculum and training programs tailored to meet the demands of the emerging hydrogen economy.
His commitment to working with industry partners is to design and build relevant and industry fit program to support the transition of working in existing energy sectors. He actively engages in industry forums, conferences, and collaborations to stay abreast of the latest developments. His insights into the future of electric and hydrogen vehicle technology has allowed the TAFE Queensland team build training for the future.

Ross Thompson is the General Manager Aftersales Foton Mobility Distribution. He is an experienced Heavy Vehicle After Sales Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Automotive Industry.
Ross has been focused on After Sales for more than 30 years with various major Truck and Bus OEM’s and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his group, as he leads the Foton Mobility customer service team to ensure that their customers receive the very best of care and backup after purchasing their product. As apart of his role, Ross also takes on the responsibility of training multiple levels of personnel in the safe operation and handling of their zero emission vehicles whilst working closely with RTO’s to design and develop both credential and micro skill courses.

Mark Fryer is the Director of Product, Industry & Electromobility at Volvo Bus Asia Pacific. Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the bus & manufacturing industries, having previously held the role of Bodybuild & Engineering Manager for Volvo Bus Australia, and prior to that led the Manufacturing Engineering team at Volgren. His passion is leading and working with people, and is particularly interested in electromobility technology.
