Mack joined Kinetic in 2022, heading up the company’s M&A function before taking on a Regional General Manager role leading service delivery teams across New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, putting her in good stead to lead Kinetic’s commercial endeavours.

Mark joined Transdev in 2014 with the NSW Bus Business as Group Service Delivery Manager with the Sydney bus Contracts 10,12 and 13. Mark’s roles progressed to General Manager, Operations and Assets and then Managing Director before moving to Queensland as Managing Director Transdev Queensland in 2019. The Queensland business has recently completed high voltage electrification and commissioned 19 Battery electric buses into service. 2 Hydrogen vehicles are to begin service in early 2024.

Tanya Smith is the newly appointed General Manager People and Culture of Transit Systems. Providing essential journeys for customers, Transit Systems delivers safe and intelligent transport solutions designed to improve the sustainability and liveability of the communities they serve.
Tanya has more than 20 years’ experience in HR with a background that encompasses rail, mining and logistics sectors, and a proven track record in managing government contracts. Tanya has held senior management roles in Downer and Decmil Australia. Tanya’s expertise extends to safety, industrial and employee relations having developed performance management frameworks with employee and union buy-in.
Tanya leads the strategic aspects of the Transit Systems’ people and culture matters, ensuring that people practices are aligned with strategic goals. Tanya is focused on improving employee experiences, creating new talent acquisition approaches, and establishing effective learning and development initiatives. This is especially important as Transit Systems expands in the ever-changing field of multi-modal passenger transport and is gearing up to attract the new generation of employees, including data scientists, urban planners, zero emission fleet technicians, and charging infrastructure specialists.

Nicholas Yap was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia on 1 July 2019. Prior to this appointment, he was the Chief Executive Officer of CDC Victoria and Chief Operating Officer of ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia. Nick joined our parent company, ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited in 1994 and was Vice President, Group Business Development, before his posting to Australia. He also served as a Manager in the Service Development Department of SBS Transit Ltd.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Economic and Social Studies (Hons) from the University of Wales and completed the Executive Programme in Transportation Management from the Nanyang Technological University and Chartered Institute of Transport, Singapore.

Jay is the Chief Operating Officer for Keolis Downer Bus, with over 20 years’ experience in bus operations, driving and implementing operational improvements and efficiencies. He oversees the day-to-day operations of over 1300 buses across Australia, along with the first multi-modal contract in Australia which operates buses, trams, and ferries.
Prior to this role, Jay was the Chief Operating Officer for NZ Bus, where he introduced 70 Zero Emission Electric buses in Auckland and Wellington. He has previously worked with State Transit, Forest Coach Lines and ComfortDelGro in senior operational roles.
Jay is passionate about the bus industry and sees incredible opportunities to transform the way we deliver services, accelerate the energy transition, and provide more value for money to public transport authorities across Australia.
